Obama's Snookered

While stumping in St. Louis today, Obama said that his plan for ending the Iraq war had remain unchanged and that he was "puzzled" by the reaction to his statement that he is, "...going to do a thorough assessment...When I go to Iraq and I have a chance to talk to some of the commanders on the ground, I'm sure I'll have more information and will continue to refine my policies...

He also went on to tell reporters that he was, "...a little puzzled by the frenzy that I set off with what I thought was a pretty innocuous statement..."

So how is going from saying that he will begin immediate removal of all of our combat brigades to "I will talk with Petraeus and the other commanders there and see what they think" innocuous? Moreover, if this is going to be a typical Obamoment™, then what can we expect from him as a president? Flip-Flip-Flopping with whatever way the polls blow? Or him making a decision and then making a different decision, and then saying that they are the same?

he likes and it isn't a flip in the eyes of his adoring masses which include the MSM....
